Sunday 03 January 2010. Part of P for Performance.

P for Performance was pleased to announce as its eighth performative event: Poetrying, an open mike poetry reading.

Poetrying was a collaboration between artist duo SKART from Belgrade (RS) and Maja Bekan’s P for Performance (NL). For this unique ‘open mike’ poetry reading in the winter garden of ‘t Gemaal, P for Performance was appropriating SKART’s monthly event Poetrying (Pesnicenje) – poetry reading. We invited enthusiastic creative poets to participate. The term ‘poetry’ was used very loosely and creatively.

Participating with their poems/performance (in no specific order):
Eric Schrijver
Maurik Michael (read by Willem Scholten)
Jack Terible
Deirdre M. Donoghue
Lia van der Kolk
Frans Willem Korsten & guest
