ADA Rotterdam - Area for Debate and Art

Saturday 31 October 2009. Part of Zicht op Zalmhaven.

In Changing CoursesNat Muller and Omar Muñoz-Cremers take a new approach; every time a different course is served they take the opportunity to discuss another subject. The conversation deals with a broad range of topics; writing, melancholic futurism, the rhizome structure, representation and rituals. The meeting itself reflected their own, very diverse practices.

Omar Muñoz-Cremers studied sociology as well as dynamics of science and technology at the University of Amsterdam. He works as an essayist, reviewer and science fiction writer. Muñoz-Cremers is a melancholy futurist with a recurring fascination for technology, the sublimity of space and dream logic. He likes to write about music, identity, technology, beauty, drugs and film.

Nat Muller describes herself as an independent curator, critic, delight-maker and foodie. Her main interests include: the intersections of aesthetics, media and politics; (new) media and art in the Middle East. She has published articles in off- and online media, is a regular contributor for Springerin and MetropolisM, and has given presentations on the subject of (new) media art (inter)nationally.

The third Zicht op Zalmhaven took place on the 31st of Oktober 2009 in TENT. Rotterdam.
